… beh, questo è libro che fa per voi!
Si tratta di una splendida monografia di 304 pagine edita da Rizzoli in occasione 
del ventesimo compleanno del marchio per celebrare queste splendide calzature
tanto amate da ogni fashionista.
Il libro è composto da sei capitoli, nel primo è possibile ripercorrere la storia del designer,
attraverso la biografia e le sue prime collaborazioni con le più grandi case di moda 
(come Chanel e Ives Saint Laurent), nel secondo ci immergiamo nella magnificenza
dei suoi negozi monomarca, nel terzo scopriamo il mondo della progettazione
 delle sue scarpe. Con il quarto capitolo ci avviciniamo a quella che è la vita privata 
di Louboutin, osservando delle splendide foto di Parigi e della sua casa in Egitto.
Nei due ultimi capitoli possiamo esplorare la collaborazione con il prestigioso
regista David Linch.
Il tutto corredato da bellissime (quanto dissacranti) foto inedite di still life ad opera
dello stesso Linch e del grande fotografo Philippe Garcia.
 Come immaginerete il prezzo della monografia è piuttosto elevato, circa 120 €.
Sognare sfogliando le pagine di questo libro…. o risparmiare per continuare a sognare ma
con un paio di Louboutin ai piedi…? Questo è il problema……! 🙂

This is a wonderful monograph of 304 pages published by Rizzoli for the twentieth birthday  
of the brand to celebrate these wonderful shoes sobeloved by every fashionista.
The book consists of six chapters, in the first is possible to trace the history of the designer,
through biography and his first collaborations withsome of the biggest fashion houses
(such as Chanel and Ives Saint Laurent), in the second we dive into the magnificent
of its stores, in the third we find the world of design  of his shoes.  
With the fourth chapter we approach with Louboutin’s private life,
observing the beautiful photos of Paris and of his home in Egypt.
In the last two chapters we can explore the collaboration with the prestigious
director David Lynch.
 All accompanied by beautiful (as irreverent) unpublished photographs of still life by
the same Lynch and the great photographer Philippe Garcia.
As you can imagine the price of the book is rather high, about 120 .
Dreaming through the pages of this book …. or save money and keep dreaming
but with a pair of Louboutin’s shoes on our feet ? This is the problem ……! 🙂
